i went in for a thyroid + growth removal where upon it was discovered that i had a carotid artery blockage...so they cracked (sawed) open my chest, grafted one artery on to another and sewed me back together (actually stapled)

i am recovering at a convalescent hospital

wow. welcome back and i hope your recovery goes smoother than my wifes has.
she had a septal myectomy back in september. I kind of know how you feel.
