How typical of a leftist, to start a post with a lie and then wonder why the conclusion doesn't make sense.
Americans are fed up with NOT WINNING the war. It hasn't been won yet under Bush, though it is heading in that direction. Hillary and Obama offer nothing but an immediate surrender and loss.
McCain offers a quicker, more decisive victory. It's something you should keep in mind when you "wonder" why so many Americans support McCain. If, of course, you're interested in finding out the truth rather than simply destroying the side that offers fewer "free goodies".
Then you would have to keep U.S. troops there until the end of time. Because the minute the U.S. pulls it's troops and declares that the war has been won and that "Democracy" has taken hold, Iraq will revert right back to a "Muslim Theocracy", by their own people, or by force from their "Muslim neighbors". Count on it!
We should be concentrating and taking care of on our own country and stop trying to dictate to other countries what we believe they should be and how they should act.
When we got attacked like on 9/11, the solution was to without warning, bomb and bring Afghanistan to it's knees, just like we did in Hiroshima. That white flag would go up so fast and the Afghanis' would be pleading for mercy and forgiveness. Little or no American lives would be lost, and the war would be over. At the same time, it would send a message to all other nations that they should mind their own business and it would make them think twice before sending in a suicide squad into our country by trying to provoke fear. In turn this would have bought peace for many years to come. Just ask the Japanese!
At the same time, we must learn that our government is the "The Government Of The United States Of America" and not "The Government Of The World"
If other countries choose to be "Socialists", "Communists", "Theocracies" or anything else. so be it. "IT'S NONE OF OUR BUSINESS" and "IT'S NONE OF THEIR BUSSINESS" if we choose the road of "Democracy". Simple rules to live by!
"But if and when we are attacked by terrorists or any other group, without just cause, there will be consequences for those actions". Let this be known to all!
