Let's face it. There is a reason why the 1% of the population has 99% of the wealth. They write the tax laws! Also, I have to admit that I don't know how the wealthy are taxed. But when I paid taxes, when tax time came around, I got most of it back. Which enabled me to buy things that I wouldn't normally have been able to afford. So for the most part, it wasn't even a tax. It was just a loan to the government. So if the wealthy are taxed, wouldn't it be pretty much the same sort of thing? I will show you a couple graphs that show some of how taxation works. It doesn't turn out too well for the poor.
