Ted Nugent: Draft Dodger Commie!

Howey

Seems like Nugent wasn't man enough to join the military to fight in Vietnam.

What a fucking coward pussy!

So Ted Nugent roams a concert stage while toting automatic weapons, calls Barack Obama "a piece of -----" and says he told Obama to suck on one of his machine-guns. He also calls Hillary Clinton a "worthless bitch" and Dianne Feinstein a "worthless whore."

That Nugent, he's a man's man. He talks the talk and walks the walk, right?

Except when it was time to register for the draft during the Vietnam era. By his own admission, Nugent stopped all forms of personal hygiene for a month and showed up for his draft board physical in pants caked with his own urine and feces, winning a deferment. Creative!.

I'll bet the gun nuts here who were around back then did the same thing!

I was drafted and went although I was tempted to go north.

Teddy is a big mouthed wuss who needs a gun to feel tough.

Double naught served burgers for a while.
I did indeed.
In the early 1990s I worked a second job in a burger joint!
May have been the late 80s mind.
Whatever, makes no odds.
You are right, I prepared, cooked and served burgers for a short period as a second job well over 20 years ago.
It was a valuable experience.

For the same reason Teddy did not. I did not want to go to Nam.
But I registered and did not weasel out when I was drafted like Mr. "tough" guy teddy did.
Ok, now why, given your understanding of fear, would you criticise another for their apparent fear?

I don't know who this Ted nugent is or why you have such hate for him.

I know lads who broke down in tears and turned into quivering jellies whilst under contact.
Some snapped out of it, others didnt.
I accepted that!
First time I was shot at I froze.
I got a MID for it!!
The report said I drew enemy fire to locate the position.
That was not the case, I froze, my legs behaved as they would after a few G+Ts!
Each time after that I learned to move, but the fear was often worse, kind of accumulative.

Very few wanted to go, my husband included.
I know many who dodged.
One is the bravest man I ever met!
70 years old, still working 60 hours a week underground with one lung!
In an environment that could kill him instantly or slowly and painfully over time.

SUUM CIQUE!
