Here are the real problems on the ground for conservatives.

Black voter rolls have doubled in many of the southern states.

You will see them trying to rile up the voters in these states with ads that will backfire in those states and destroy your chances of any gain in ohter states.

What you do in one state now (because of the internet) gets talked about and broadcast nationally.

You can lose gracefully or dig the hole for the republican party deeper by acting like flailing assholes.

I know what the party leaders will do already.

Its a sad thing but it may just be the death nell for this current Republican leadership.

Hopefully it will clean out your party and the Republican party can once again become a decent party which is invested in real democracy and provides a healthy balance to the Democratic party.

I'm just going to ignore it, because I won't compromise with socialism. Then, when the Dems institute their dream of new world order, devoid of antequated principles like natural rights and we are all serfs, I can point fingers and call people names. Assuming I haven't been executed/imprisoned for crimes against the state/greater good.

If blacks can't be happy as a voting block with political/social/civil rights, and would prefer "economic rights," then I have little to say to them except be careful with the monster you are helping to create, because it has historically been more brutal to you than it has to catholics and slavs like me...

You know, if all the black people hadn't of moved to Chicago in the 60's, this state would be run by blacks right now.

Good job black people! Just go and abandon me with the crazy white people!

I love how Dems praise the GOP of old. Yeah, I'm sure they'd love to face off against the likes of Robert Taft, Henry Cabot Lodge and Everett Dirksen...

Irrespective of your unfounded paranoia about being executed .. you'll be around to witness an evolved America .. better, more fair, and more admired than the America of our past.

What a downer, huh?

Absolutely correct.

Frankly, it's about time blacks excerised this power throughout the south.

They finally see the system offering something they can believe in,

Its a great development for the entire country.

Absolutely .. and at some point hispanics will see the light and exert their influence into the political process .. which does not bode well for republicans.

Republicans are not growing their ranks, and in fact, they are shrinking fast.

If they can no longer rely on the south and far west, they are in deep doodoo.

As you say, a great development for the country.
