The crisis of masculinity

Richard Reeves: In terms of what’s on offer right now, I think there’s the performance of different kinds of masculinity. You’re quite right that, with the Republican Party, we’re seeing a very strong bravado type of masculinity.

Up until this point, the Democrats have been really bad at suggesting — not that we need an evolution of masculinity, but sometimes they’ve sounded like we need an abolition of masculinity — that masculinity didn’t need reform, it needed obliteration. And so a lot of men just feel like there isn’t much there for them.

It's hard to understand how any man could embrace modern day progressivism.

Even ignoring the sheer hypocrisy, like how women claim total control of their body while men have to fill out selective service cards and nobody can sell organs shows they are simply wrong and dumb about this notion.

but then we see them allowing men in women's restrooms, men competing in women's sports, and so on - and the only thing we can say is you are fucking insane.

Why does masculinity need reform?
