The Federal Dis-empowerment Act

We The People of the United States, submit to our Congress the following act:

The Federal Dis-empowerment Act; to re-establish fundamental founding principles of a more limited Federal government.

WHEREAS; The United States established a Federal Republic, which by nature of being Federal, is intended to represent the interests of the federation of states and territories comprising the Republic.

WHEREAS; The Federal government's Constitutional role is to "provide for" the general welfare, not "provide welfare for" the general public.

WHEREAS; The 10th Amendment to the US Constitution should be followed unless it is repealed through due process.

WHEREAS; The Federal government itself, has no Constitutional authority to determine, mandate, sanction, support, or otherwise advocate for any social or moral issue.

WHEREAS; The Federal government has no authority to attempt to regulate any social or moral issue, and this authority rests only with the states and territories, and in accordance with the people.

WHEREAS; There is no need for redundant federal agencies, nor is there a constitutional basis for them to exist.

WHEREAS; Taxes and budgets required to run the Federal government, should be based on GDP and GDP growth.

WHEREAS; Defense should be the Federal government's largest expenditure, since it is the primary function of the Federal government, the expenses pertaining to defense should also be GDP-based unless Congress declares an Act of War.

WHEREAS; In so much as the Federal Reserve shall exist, it shall also be audited and accounted for regularly.

WHEREAS; The Federal government has a responsibility to the people, to maintain good credit standing, and operate on a balanced budget, submitted to and approved by Congress annually.

Be it resolved, we pass this Act, in order to preserve the integrity of our great nation.
