I love it. And it does, of course, beg the question. Why didn't God just create a computer, a printer, and paper, so Moses wouldn't have had to lug that block of stone around? Seems counterproductive.

The point is that God was capable of using only the technology of the day. Because? Well, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure that out.

Originally, there were 3 tablets with 5 Commandments each. Heavy they were, as they were made from stone. Moses dropped the third one and it broke, leaving us with only 10.

It also marked the first time the 3rd Commandment was violated.
