The newspaper was abolitionist from the start, but it advocated compensating slaveholders when slavery was abolished in the British Empire in 1833. Should the Guardian be canceled?

Sounds like the Guardian did exactly what they should have done. Looked into their past to ask hard questions, and held themselves accountable.
