The State of America

Some good news about the state of America (something not to be measured by singular events as suggested elsewhere on this forum) is growing use of public libraries by younger Americans. This is in contrast with older Americans who remain stuck and dumbed down on the Internet.

For gawd's sake, don't tell the MAGATs. They've already been attacking and trying to defund/close libraries because they hate access to topics they fear -- like books about LGBTQ, slavery, racism, the uglier bits of American history, etc.

Don't know if they fear learning but it's apparent from the postings of many of them here they don't go near it.

That was ugly, Marty and totally unjustified.

Your post merits a "dislike," Marty.

Have you been to the library this week?
