The Surprising History of Black Jews

Black Jews have been a part of American history since before the colonial era. In fact, Jews of Roman-African or Afro-Caribbean descent, of diverse lineage, or who have converted continue to contribute to the rich and multi-faceted history of the Jewish people.
Today, some of these Jews of Color have come together in communities and organizations to bring them out of the margins and into the mainstream of American Jewry.

Our next door neighbor was adopted as a child. A few years ago she did one of the DNA tests for ancestry. She found out that she is a mixture of Ashkenazi Jew, Native American, and southern European white. She is dark, with black hair and dark brown eyes. And thankfully looks nothing like Seinfeld. lol

does that include blacks who are not semitic, have converted to Judaism, but don't believe what Jews believe.......you know, things like there is a God and his name is YHWH?.......
