I am going to explain the Biden "Open Border" crisis for you, because understanding it will give you some more insight into the workings of the American Left. At present, you do not seem to really have grasped their fundamental political objective. This is to destroy CAPITALISM in the United States, and replace the old American government with a big, centralized SOCIALIST system.
The "Biden "Open Border" disaster (2021 - 2025) is a near perfect example of a (failed) bid, by the hard Left to achieve this objective.
It is not possible for me to explain this in a couple of paragraphs, Anchovies, in fact this post may be relatively lengthy. However, I hope you will have the courtesy to read what I have to say. Especially because (1): it is all based on fact, which you can easily confirm for yourself, and (2): I am performing this onerous task solely "out of the goodness of my own heart", in the hope that YOU might acquire a clearer insight into the dark political machinations that are at work in America as we speak !
(1) THIS STORY STARTS HERE, ANCHOVIES, IN THE US, IN THE MID-1960s - THE ERA OF "THE HIPPIES" AND STUDENT RADICALISM
By the mid-1960s, an antiestablishment, student counterculture movement was present - to a greater or lessor extent - in many American Universities and colleges. The best to gain an idea of what the student counterculture looked like is to look back at how it expressed itself on the campuses of the big. prestigious Universities like: Columbia, Yale, Harvard. UC Berkeley, Jackson State, Kent State. I am more interested in the political philosophy of the counterculture than in the "Hippies" and their "Sex and Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll" schtik.
During the 1960s, the student counterculture in America *and in Western Europe, supported a political movement called the "New Left' This movement was call the "New Left" because it rejected the authoritarianism of the orthodox "Old Left" ( i/e/ the Marxist/Leninist models of the Soviet Union and Red China that were based on the notion of "class struggle' In the 1950s a national student activist organization called the "Students for a Democratic Society" (SDS) emerged and became the largest group of its kind in the US. The leadership of the SDS campaigned on a mixture of issues" : Social Justice; Civil Rights (eg segregation in the South),'the War in Vietnam; The War on Poverty and the Environment amongst others. The SDS saw all of these issues as being interrelated. and, it's quite clear that the common factor among them was that they all had their primary roots in State Capitalism. The SDS outright rejected America's system of advanced industrial/corporate capitalism, claiming that it was an oppressive, exploitative and alienating totalitarian system and called for it to be completely removed and replaced with a more enlightened model.
In (not just my) own opinion the SDS followed the political philosophy of the "New Left" which seems closest in character to what is called Libertarian Socialism/
So what is Libertarian Socialism? Briefly, Libertarian Socialism strives for a free and equal society. It encapsulates any political ideology that favors the Working Class; the Poor; those who are economically disadvantages; marginalized; exploited; discriminated against, etc; groups in society and demands the replacement of state capitalism with a cooperative system of economics. Libertarian Socialism sees these economically deprived persons as the agents of social revolution. It rejects electoralism, representative democracy and advocates for grass-roots self-organization and direct action as a means to engage in revolutionary struggle.
Got it, Anchovies? This was the kind of thinking that largely animated the student activists of the 1960s counterculture. They wanted to destroy the "black heart " of "the Establishment" (US state capitalism) which they saw as being the cause of injustice oppression, the repression of liberty (personal freedoms),, mass exploitation, alienation and as having become tyrannical in nature. BUT they were not Old School Marxist communists whose politics was grounded in a class-struggle between the Plebs and the Ruling Class. The shocking events of 1956-7 has demonstrated that orthodox Marxist communism had created a Soviet Union that was a brutal and murderous, oppressive regime, no better than the system of government created by advanced, industrial/corporate state capitalism in the United States. So, the majority of the 1960s student counterculture rejected state capitalism AND the "Old Left" (Marxist communism) but believed they had a better replacement for them in a new, socialist system based upon the kind of principles embodied in Libertarian Socialism.

No, we need to let those law enforcement officers trained in immigration enforcement do their jobs without being attacked at every turn by an angry mob of radical Leftists while the local police and other law enforcement are nowhere to be seen because the local politicians are cheering on and even encouraging the mob to attack them.
