Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Commissioner Mark Christie warned of the potential for “catastrophic consequences” for the reliability of the American power grid if the U.S. does not stop phasing out fossil fuel infrastructure before renewable infrastructure is capable of replacing its output.

I just love a good 'ol wing nut fossil fuel lovefest. The only reason trumptards shit on non-fossil fuel energy is because they view energy alternatives as something "loved by the libs". Libs go for it, so they have to hate it.

Trumptards value "owning the libs" more than they value what's best for the future of the country and the world.

So you think the solar panels will produce enough electricity to replace fossil fuels? Get ready for blackouts since new EPA rules will shut down fossil fuel power plants

Lurch is banking entirely on solar and wind. In other words, piddle power.

The EPA has no authority to shut down power plants using coal, oil, or natural gas simply because they use coal, oil, or natural gas. Indeed, the EPA itself is unconstitutional. Congress has NO authority to even create such an agency. NOTHING gives Congress the authority to implement any fascism. See Article 1 and the 9th, 10th, and 14th amendments. Any such rules can be challenged on that basis.

The EPA has a regulation for carbon capture that many will not want to do because it will cut much of the profit
