Tour de France thread

Quintana is a cheat for hanging on to the back of the motorcycle on the final climb. Froome should be disqualified for running without his bike. The rules just don't matter anymore anywhere in any walk of life.

Another photo finish and long breakaway. Turning out to be a fun tour to watch. Rest day tomorrow. Then team time trial in the mountains. Quintana and Froome have the best mountain teams on paper.

I have missed most of it this year. They need to do something to liven these Grand Tours up. Every since riders have started wearing radios with orders coming from team cars you don't see a fraction of the attacks that you used to and most attacks, particularly early one, are designed to give ad time to specific teams.

The course design has put lots of drama in this tour. 3 photo finishes prove that. Froome got a stage win with a solo breakaway on a decent. Another solo breakaway went for a win. Today's break was more than a media grab. Then the time trials being moved to the middle of the tour are making things interesting. Next stage is a mountainous team time trial. Never seen that before. Can't just ride the slip stream and crank away with the sprinters. This year is the best I've seen in decades.
