Former President Donald Trump is diverting money he has raised from his 2024 presidential campaign into a political action committee that he has used to pay his personal legal fees, according to The New York Times.

​​The disclosure text on the WinRed digital fundraising platform for the Trump presidential campaign was updated to state that 10% of the money raised will be sent to the Save America PAC, which has funded Trump's legal bills in the past. When Trump first launched his campaign, 99 cents of every dollar went to his campaign while just one cent was directed toward the Save America PAC.

It is a campaign fund for the 2024 election. Trump is diverting 10 percent to his legal fees. It is not a campaign and a pot to pay his lawyers. If he said he was going to take a part for legal fees, then only Trumpys like you would not mind. However, there are people who do resent it. They want him to win but do not want to pay for lawyers who are trying to save him from a lifetime and a presidential term of corruption. It is Trump being Trump, taking advantage of anyone who believes him.

Legal fees are just as much a part of a campaign as anything else

You also have some staffers to pay, food expenses, travel, venue rentals, advertising

Nope. His legal fees are for personal crimes. He needs lawyers to fight New York tax cases. He needs them to appeal his Carrol defamation case. He needs them to fight his Georgia election crimes. He needs some to fight his fake electors scheme. None of that is his campaign. it is his lawbreaking abusive ways coming to roost.
