Trump imposes tariff on 180 countries, exempts Russia, Belarus, Cuba and North Korea.

Why would I feel compelled to respond to that fact?

I found them. So apparently the point that Tbird is trying to make is that an individual farmer here and there speaks for farmers in general?
ROFLMAO... I guess you didn't actually read the articles since they not only quote individual farmers, they quote the leaders of several farmer organizations which do speak for farmers in general.

Does the US currently have any trade with Russia, Belarus, Cuba, or N. Korea? I know on the last two there are long standing embargos on trade. I'm not sure on the first two.
Yes, the US currently does trade with Russia, Belarus, Cuba and North Korea.

Your mindlessly regurgitated disinformation is summarily dismissed. Let's rewrite the above statement for honesty:

180 countries, including supposed U.S. "allies," who have been engaging in blatant trade predation with the US, are now being hit with totally fair and equalizing reciprocal tariffs, ... whereas trade between countries such as Russia, Cuba, Belarus and North Korea, who were not engaging in any unfair trade practices with the US, will remain unaffected.

Not to mention that trade between countries such as Russia, Cuba, Belarus and North Korea is already highly restricted.

Just more dishonest blather from the board Stalinists.

No they don't (same as union bosses don't speak for union members), and so? A few individual farmers and a few farmer organization leaders is not representative of farmers in general.

We import less than 4 billion from Russia less than 500 Million from Belarus and less than 4 Billion from Cuba And ZERO from North Korea BIG DEAL.

That is quite the goal post move there. You have gone from name a single farmer to name someone that speaks for farmers to your final goal post move of no one can speak for farmers.

And, this is your big issue with Trump atm? Really? That's all you've got? Wow, the Democrats and Left are really grasping at straws...
You seem to be grasping at straws. If Biden had done this the right would be screaming it proved he had dementia. When Trump does it, you simply try to justify it with ridiculous arguments that end up being factually false.

Nothing has been moved (and I never said "name someone that speaks for farmers", and I especially didn't say "no one can speak for farmers"); you just can't follow along with a conversation.

For the longest time, people kept referencing "farmers", then "farmers in NC & FL", without ever specifying which farmers they were discussing. You finally provided a few individual farmers.

However, a few (likely leftist-cherry-picked) individual farmers do not speak for farmers in general.

That's where the conversation is currently at.

Oh really?! Which farmers? Where? Oh, that's right, you're just making shit up again.......
Which farmers? States are not farmers.
LEARN TO READ.

I asked "Which farmers?" ... I didn't ask for states; I asked for farmers.
You are a real stupid mother fucker.
"Farmers in NC" means about as much as "the experts" or "sources familiar with the matter" means.

Nobody has yet to identify any of these farmers for me. I suspect that's because these "farmers" that are being referenced do not actually exist.

Then you would be guessing wrong, per usual.

A clear movement of goal posts on your part.
You went from "which farmers?" to individual farmers don't speak for farmers in general to leaders of farm organizations don't speak for farmers in general to individual farmers and farm organization leaders are not representative of farmers.

Not only have you moved the goal posts your final ask is not based on any facts but a flawed assumption on your part. A few individual farmers may or may not represent farmers in general. It is now incumbent upon you to show us how those farmers are not representative of farmers in general.
