It's insecurity, more than anything.

Really, one of the most insecure people to ever serve in public life. "Crowd size" is really a thing w/ him.
 
Trump is very immature. Can you imagine a presidential candidate talking about how he is better looking than his opponent? That is not presidential, but then he is rarely presidential. he is terribly flawed and not very bright.
