Ahead of the midterm elections, an emboldened President Trump has shown an increased eagerness to leverage the full investigative, prosecutorial and legislative powers of the federal government to bend election mechanics to his will.

With his words and deeds, the president — who pushed to overturn his 2020 defeat but declared his 2024 victory legitimate — appears to be undermining Americans’ trust that the midterms will be free and fair.

Other way around. The Left always wants and ends in a dictatorship of virtue, be it Fascism, Communism, Socialism, or some other form of dictatorship, that's were the Left goes.

They do it because they are intellectually and physically lazy. The Left's ideas appeal to those least willing to put any effort into anything.

The Left never wants democracy beyond voting itself in as dictators. Name one place in history where the Left didn't end up doing exactly that outside of their taking power by sheer force.

I cannot believe you're actually calling it a "hysterical fit" over a President brazenly and openly trying to subvert the states' and Congress's Constitutional authority over controlling elections.

When a gaslighting piece of MAGA trash calls itself an American, it makes a mockery of the word.

God let's hope the SCOTUS stuffs it up trump's ass again.
