The U3 is and always has been a shitty way to determine unemployment. The labor utilization rate is far better and on that measure it's the lowest right now since about the 1960's.

Trump was handed over a growing and vibrant economy by Obama. Trump did nothing on the economy, but brag that it was his doings. It wasn't for at least 2 years in ,that he cut taxes for the wealthy and corporations. That greatly exacerbated the wealth gap. He made the biggest jump in the deficit that any president did. He cranked it up by 9 trillion. Trump built nothing. He just made the rich more wealthy.
