The mainstreem media quoted Bush in his recient press conference as having said...

""I know there's a lot of, here in Washington people are trying to — stimulus package two — and all that stuff,” Bush told reporters."

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/23394284/

That is a direct quote is a news story about the possability of recession. Noone even noted that what the guy said was gibberish!

Bush is topspin

Seriously how can anyone that voted for Bush be proud of their vote ?

And worse yet still support the guy.

I am still amazed daily that this guy won the 2004 election, and came close enough to claim victory in 2000.

The story used this quote as if the president achually said something.

Read: I have nothing better to do than talk about GW Bush, a president that is almost universally hated, as if it is a bold and/or new thing to do. Also, I am a left-winger and so will never be able to admit that Bush won the election in 2000, even though at this point it is irrelevant as not even Al Gore has invented a time machine yet.

Well, to be fair he did finish with something that actually could be comprehended:

"I know there's a lot of, here in Washington people are trying to — stimulus package two — and all that stuff,” Bush told reporters. “Why don't we let stimulus package one, which seemed like a good idea at the time, have a chance to kick in?"

30% still support him... 52% of voters voted for him. Its relevant, because we need to find out how we got into this mess.

sort of!

I can tell you how we got into this mess, as can the rest of America. Al Gore having the charisma of a rotting log allowed Bush to get into the White House, where he managed to stay because of fear-mongering in the wake of the 9/11 attacks.

It isn't much of a mystery dude, even though Bush-chasing (not the good kind) is becoming an obsession of yours.

How dare you talk about the President on a political message board! You idiot! Why don't you try talking about Chaucer?

So we got here because enough American voters vote based on Carisma, thats embarrassing. And 9-11 made me want someone new worse than not having had 9-11!

Darla seems to be obsessed with me. It's a mastubatory thing, I understand...she chases me around trying to insult my posts (ironically without reading any of them) while keeping one hand on the keyboard and one firmly up her ass.

I know that you have trouble accepting this Jarod (all of your posts indicate you do): your opinion does not reflect what America wants. I know that the truth can hurt, but you can't keep basing what happens in America on what you wanted to happen.

Bush still has not give up on the just another few months line ?

Beating a dead horse doesn't mean anything to you, does it?

Man do the conservatives, those who voted Bush as leader of the Republcian party and best choice for president twice, get upset when you even mention the President, yet they screamed about President Clinton for how many years after he was president.

I have no idea what the conservatives do, having not been one (nor am I one today). Nor will you ever find me making a thread about Clinton.

Next argument, please.

Let's cut to the end and just admit that you are a one-trick horse.
