Some excellent games this weekend.

But none better than #1 Alabama v. #11 Florida.

The hype has Florida with a chance at the upset. It ain't gonna happen!

I think Penn St is going to crush auburn. In the first two game auburn scored a LOT of points. But they played Akron and Alabama State. Penn St, meanwhile, beat Wisconsin AT home.
 
Watching Steven A. and Tim Tebow right now “discussing” the Alabama/Florida game right now. Entertaining.

Two of the best teams money can buy, although Florida ain’t quite in Alabama’s league, the Florida players aren’t provided with the latest and greatest cars

Alabama doesn't have to offer money. Start for them and guaranteed you're drafted in the NFL after three yrs of college football.

And imagine, Universities used to attract students to pursue further education, now, well, as we are told here, one attracts students by promising them an NFL career, which statistically, is a lie, but who cares, they’ll get a new vehicle anyways

Neither were the Alabama players. At least until the ruling came down that players can benefit from selling their name.

They will now. That is if someone wants to pay to use their name. It is legal now.

College football is a big money maker for schools and it supports other non-profitable sports, most notably women's athletics which must be offered due to Title IX. It also supports academics. Not saying I agree or disagree but that's the reality.
