What is "Political Debate"?

On this board it is often two people spouting talking points without regard to the fact that most people on this site already have heard them and pay far more attention to politics to have talking points be an affective argument.

M'eh. I used a verb when I should have used a noun. Not so much a spelling error as a common grammatical error in writing between effect and affect. Of course, that is what counts as "debate" for some people. A rare grammatical error becomes the whole of the "argument".
