What Obama Has Said Regarding Iraq

It would not suprise me much if much of that is true kathi, he is a politician after all. I only know a couple of those that I trust as far as I can throw em.

Also have you read that Non US coprs are taking the lions share of contracts with the Iraqi in Iraq now after we spent all those lives and money there ?

All you need know about pajamasmedia is that Roger Simon is its founder. Simon who has serious manlove with for Romney is a republican hack, always has been.

As far as the article, I found it to be a mess of thrown together accusations that try to suggest that Obama conspired to assist Rezko with contracts in Iraq, thus his "changing" positions.

If there was any truth to this, Obama would have been out of the race long ago. The Clinton machine would have been spreading this all over the universe and the MSM would have it plastered all over the front page. Even McCain can't find serious connections between Obama and Rezko that are substantial enough to bring him down.

I gotta tell you .. I agree with Cypress. You may not have a dog in this fight, but there is one dog you most certainly don't like .. and I've never read you criticizing the republican dogs.

I've been thinking for the last few months that this nation needs a new major political party. If we take at face value, all the republicans who claim they aren't voting for republicans as being true, then we have to assume the republican party is basically almost extinct.

If these republicans are telling the truth, pretty much the only reason they engage in politics at this point, is to keep a democrat out of office. It's their hatred of democrats that drives them.

Which is why we need a new major party called the "Anti-Democrat Party" or something like that.

Actually, there is a need for several more political parties in the mainstream.

Democrats are divided between liberals and centrists, and under the thumb of the DLC, liberals were almost completely locked out.

Republicans simply don't know what to do with themselves. They are a disillusioned and broken mess. Their biggest problem is they are completely incapable of adapting to an evolving society, thus they keep reading from the same failed playbook.

How many times do people have to bew told that Obama was never under investigation for anything related to Rezko. That the prosicutors of Rezko have even stated publically that Obama has done NOTHING WRONG!

The fight she has no dog in, is the war. It is clear from her post she was talking about the war and that she opposed Obama for other reasons than his stance on the war.

Hence, negative on Obama "yes", worried about what he says about the war "no". At least for Kathi...

But, for some reason USC, myself, and BAC seem to be on the receiving end of a lot of rightwing angst.

If I had to guess, its because we bash Bush a lot, and made fun of Ron Paul.


Personally, I've spent years on this message board and others being called a collectivist, socialist, communist, traitor, and saddam lover by various permutations of Bush voters and some Ronbots....so I don't give a shit, or pay attention to lectures about how I should conduct myself, or how I should moderate my Bush bashing.

Yep. I feel it is my duty to do what I can to see that we as a nation do not soon forget our folly of electing bush or someone like him.

Just sweep it under the rug ? Especially while he is still president ? No way in hell.

This is a political board and contrary to what some profess it involves far more than currently running candidates.
