Where are your Jews?

" Silenced " ?? You really are a prize plonker, maggot.

Haw, haw..................................................haw.

Europe used to have large Yiddish speaking populations of Jews, those are mostly gone now. It ended during and after WWII. The Middle East used have a bigger population of Jews throughout the region, but that ended after WWII.

Iraq and Afghanistan had large Jewish communities that went back to Babylonian captivity back 2,600 years ago. Within our lifetimes, the Iraqi Jewish community has died, and the last Jew left Afghanistan. Iraq has one or two Jews still living there, but no Jewish families.

To put this is perspective, Josh Gad is an American actor born in 1981. His father Shmuel Gad was born into a thriving Afghan Jewish community. Now there are no Jews in Afghanistan.

Oddly enough, the only thriving Jewish communities in the region (outside of Israel) is in Iran. South Korea has about the same size native Jewish population as Egypt.
