Which state would you consider to be the **most** liberal?

I used to think California, but I've changed my mind.
For me, Washington would be it- as they are already ahead of everyone else legalizing usage of marijuana, and gay marriage, and various others things.
 
All of the states that are bankrupted are pretty much "leftist." The only thing "liberal" about them is their liberal bribing of the vote with other folks money.
 
no, wa is at the end of the day still a swing state. it also has a lotttttt of super christians. I am still going with either mass, maybe vermont

Well you've got a nifty point there - as Vermont is home to many independent thinking intellectuals (many of which are Jews who have a bunch of money).
