I know I will be. I can't wait for live baseball to start up again. And I'll be rooting for my favorite baseball player, Chris Davis of the Baltimore Orioles, to reach the 300 career home run milestone. He's at 295 right now. Go, Chris!

No, and I will not be sad at all if baseball is the first major league sport to collapse into waves of bankruptcies, these creeps deserve it. Pretty much no one cares about the game anymore, only money, everyone involved as been a poor quality steward of the sport.

I'm NOT an Orioles fan, just a fan of Chris Davis. I don't DISLIKE the Orioles, I HAVE kind of liked the team since the late 1960's and early 1970's.

Understand that I am in Seattle, a franchise that appears to have no interest in winning, but a lot of interest in pulling more money out of pockets with the concessions stand.

The film is from the 1950's, implying it has never been easy being an Orioles fan, great ballpark though. Hard franchise competing in probably the toughest division in baseball, ain't easy competing against the big time spenders, plus caught in the middle of the historical rivalries, amazing Tampa has been able to do it for so long

They DID have some great teams in the 60's and 70's, I believe they won three World Series in those decades. They also won their last World Series in 1983. That team had a lot of talent. Cal Ripken, Jr., I believe Eddie Murray was on that team. And Jim Palmer, although aging at the time, still a fine pitcher. And of course, Steve Stone, who had easily his finest season. He won 25 games in the regular season and won the Cy Young Award.

Correction. The Orioles have won three World Series in total. 1966, 1970, and 1983. I believe Jim Palmer was on ALL 3 of the teams.

Another correction. Steve Stone won his Cy Young Award in 1980, when he won 25 games. He retired two years before the 1983 season.

Yes they did, spoilers those years, can always remember the controversial Jeter Home Run in the Division playoffs in the mid nineties when the kid interfered with the ball on top of the wall and they ruled it a home run, prior instant replay, must have seen that video at least hundred times
