Yep, yet another comprehensive study of the costs of EV's shows that without the massive subsidies they receive, they would cost $48,698 over ten years more to own and drive than an equivalent ICE car.
OVERCHARGED EXPECTATIONS:

The unsubsidized cost of charging an EV including transmission losses, and other hidden costs, along with infrastructure is the equivalent of $17.33 a gallon for gasoline.
...these estimates do not include the hundreds of billions more in subsidies in the Inflation Reduction Act (2022) for various aspects of the EV supply chain, particularly for battery manufacturing. It is not an overstatement to say that the federal government is subsidizing EVs to a greater degree than even wind and solar electricity generation and embarking on an unprecedented endeavor to remake the entire American auto industry.
In other words, as usual, the radical Left and the Greentards thereon are leading the US, and world, into an economic disaster pushing EV cars down everyone's throats. Don't expect them to apologize either when this disaster becomes a full blown one and EV technology is largely abandoned in favor of something that works.
