So the price of food only goes up when the minimum wage goes up?
No, but it won't help to raise the cost of doing business in these times either. Business already has huge uncertainty due to the recent SCOTUS decision on health care, and the regulations coming down the pike....
Do ya think it might be possible to get some people some jobs before we start complaining what the pay is?
So the price of food only goes up when the minimum wage goes up?
So...since they're already fucked, might as well do nothing to help the minimum wage earners, then? That's your position?
There is something to be said for countries such as Denmark. They enjoy many of the same freedoms and the same level of prosperity that we enjoy and are the happiest people in the world. They are also taxed at a high rate, have a minimum wage equivalent to $38,000/year US, and have very good income equality.
It is very easy to start and run a business in Denmark; they are among Europe's most free economies. Yet, they also manage to provide a great standard of living for everyone.
Does Denmark contradict conservative ideology, or is it simply too different from the US to compare?

every single time MW has gone up, so does the cost of food and other necessities.
Not only will it increase the cost of food and other products, it won't help the problem, or it won't be enough... it never is with liberals.
For those of you 'moderates' out there, who might be considering siding with this idiot, think about it... the last time we raised the minimum wage, did it fix whatever was the problem? How about the time before that? Or the time before that? In fact, has ANY liberal program EVER fixed the problem? Or is it always an ever-elusive UTOPIA on the horizon, if we can just dump the trillions of dollars into it fast enough?
So, raising the minimum wage will somehow NOT raise the price of milk? Wow, when did that happen?
Why do conservatives hate poor people?
every single time MW has gone up, so does the cost of food and other necessities.
not by much but since you pointed it out, how much will it raise the price of milk?
