Zimmerman ADMITS to following Martin

One wonders if all those who've lied repeatedly and claimed Zimmerman never said as much will now admit they were wrong...


HANNITY:Let me ask you this. At that point, we can hear the unbuckling of the seatbelt, hear you opening the car door, and this dispatch asked you at that point, and this became

a very key moment that everyone in the media focused on, and the dispatcher asked you, "are you following him?" And you said yes. Explain that.

ZIMMERMAN: I meant that I was going in the same direction as him, to keep an eye on him so that I could tell the police where he was going. I didn't

mean that I was actually pursuing him.

In short...Zimmerman admits he followed Martin and you can't claim self defense if you initiate the conflict by following another.

The firefighter in Houston who was just convicted of the same thing, claimed he was fearful for his life. The testimony during the trial proves that after the initial contact, he followed those he claimed to be fearful of back up the street before he shot them.
 
good lord, we all know he followed him at that point you ignorant tard. it was the later point that is of contention. further, following someone does not necessarily mean he initiated anything.

Very good point.

He also said something like "it was Gods plan" in regards to shooting the guy, or something like that. Which sounds like "God made me do it".

Is this going to be tried in Houston? If so you might have a point, but until the actual trial takes place, and a verdict is rendered, you are just speculating.

I bet the prosecutor is tap dancing over this interview, like I said on another thread, I don't understand Gerge's attorney letting him do this interview. I wonder how much it paid?

Actually, what he's saying is he's a petulant little baby who can't STAND it when I make points such as this...

His hatred of me is so strong it won't allow him to debate me straight up...instead he's always resorting to the snide, insult-filled cheap shot like the one above.
 
This is why I had to stop arguing about this. Everytime some smirking asshat talks about how there's nothing wrong with following someone - he had every right! I feel like I would like to take my high heel and grind it into their face.

What a stupid effing thing to say. Only, only, only, a man could ever say that, I believe nearly almost always (if not ALWAYS, every single time, which is probably the truth) a white man, and a effing big stupid entitled one too.

Well, being a 17 year old, out on the street gathering my ingredients for that nights purple lean, I'd have gone back home when I knew that I had lost him....See, once the little dope head circled around and confronted Z, HE became the aggressor.

I think that inconsistencies like this, and the one below absolutely will hurt him in court. If he makes it to court. I hope you're not too disappointed if he doesn't.

On a recording of the call, Zimmerman could be heard at one point telling the dispatcher that Martin had taken off. “Shit, he’s running,” Zimmerman said. At almost the same moment, the audio captured him taking off his seat belt, opening the door to his vehicle and getting out to follow the teen.

HANNITY: Why do you think that he was running then?

ZIMMERMAN: Maybe I said running, but he was more —

HANNITY: You said he’s running.

ZIMMERMAN: Yes. He was like skipping, going away quickly. But he wasn’t running out of fear.

HANNITY: You could tell the difference?

ZIMMERMAN: He wasn’t running.

HANNITY: So he wasn’t actually running?

ZIMMERMAN: No, sir.

HANNITY: OK. Because that’s what you said to the dispatcher, that you thought he was running.
