The difference of turn out is striking....

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM)- More than 65,000 people filled Cowboys Stadium to see one of the most polarizing figures in America: conservative radio host Glenn Beck.

Thousands of Beck supporters traveled from various states to hear his message during his “Restoring Love” event.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Saturday was supposed to be President Barack Obama’s day, dominated by headlines of successful campaign holding its first rally. Instead, reports prominently included references to thousands of empty seats at the president’s first rally here — just as the Romney campaign wanted it.

At The Ohio State University, over 5,000 seats in the 20,000-person venue went unfilled on the upper seating deck and behind the press cameras —a sharp contrast to Obama’s events in 2008, and even a 2010 event with then-Gov. Ted Strickland which drew 35,000.

ABC News had reported Saturday morning that the campaign expected “overflow” crowds at each event, crowds which never did materialize.

Obama sycophants are running around mocking, and ridiculing Romney for every breath taken, meanwhile trying to bullshit everyone in America that Obama is going to win...Listen, arguably Beck has been a flame thrower in the past concerning his views, but when Obama was elected he fought against every move, and exposed much about Obama the liar n chief. That cost him at FNS.

Now, Beck has his own internet network, and just got done producing the largest day of charitable service possibly in history, and I am sure he will be derided for it...Sad.

Think about it libs...Beck filled Dallas stadium, Obama can't even fill a stadium half its size in Ohio to kick off his re election campaign.

Because apparently, you fuckwits seem to think you can win an election and we're all going to suddenly turn into democrats and support everything you want to do. Seems like you would see from the past 4 years, that's not the case, especially since that's what you want to blame for Obama's lack of results.

The same thing they always do, rant and rave about Socialism. Beck will purchase more of those big boards he uses on his show and and plot out the doom and gloom lying just ahead. I imagine illustrating a Stephen King novel would look quite similar. :)

Well first of all, Beck no longer has a show. But you kind of hit on something... the same thing is going to happen again. His next term will still be met with defiant Republicans who oppose everything he wants to do. Groups like the Tea Party will continue to emerge in dissatisfaction, and the conservative coalition will continue to win statehouse seats and chip away at the Senate. What's NOT going to happen, is we're NOT going to wake up in a world where Republicans agree with Democrats and everyone goes along with what Liberals want to do.

Liberals need to be telling us what areas they are willing to "reach out" and find agreement with Republicans on in the next term. To be reeling off a bunch of pie-in-the-sky nonsense you can never pass, is relying on complete mindless stupidity, why would anyone expect you to be able to deliver?

I did some research. Turns out that although lil Mac compared a Obama speech this past weekend at OSU to Beck's Crazyfest at Dallas stadium, ummm, well...Obama wasn't at OSU on Saturday.

Wasn't anywhere near OSU.

Digging a little further, it seems like what lil Mac's lying about is Obama's speech at Schottenstein Stadium, with a max capacity of 18.300, and attended by over 14000 students. While the Romney mole took a focused pic of a small group of ppl, here's a pic from the school newspaper.



Not so shabby...Oh. And the pic lil Mac's source posted? That's Ford Field at OSU. Not this event.

Meanwhile, why wasn't the field overflowing? A couple of reasons. One, it was Obama's second trip there in two months, and two, kids were preparing for graduation, etc. As one student said:

It's not that his support is falling. It's just that we've seen him before, many of us a bunch of times," said Ohio State student Alison Forsyth, who attended a rally for the first time.

Beck's event drew 50% of capacity, not 65k as claimed. There were 40,000 attendees. Here's a pic:

When Beck also claimed he'd had tens of thousands show up and his ridiculous little rally in DC back a couple years ago...and then everyone learned he'd LIED and the pix were PHOTOSHOPPED.


I didn't see ONE PHOTO of a FILLED Dallas Stadium anywhere in that report, but you go right on guzzling that kool-aid my friend.

Reeling off nonsense? I think you're confusing the Dems with the Repubs and their passing resolutions or whatever concerning ObamaCare knowing they're going nowhere. The Dems passed ObamaCare. They simply told the Repubs to STFU and STFD until the adults concluded their business. It is truly unfortunate it had to come to that but like unruly children one does have to put their foot down, sooner or later.
