Well, I know of several mosques around where I grew up in Mountlake Terrace and in Northgate, for example. I have no intention of burning these places down, or antagonizing their members. The one in Terrace is down the street from my uncle's house, and he has even gone so far as to assist strangers in locating the place. I just find it silly that attacks from the Muslims get rationalized, while the West gets hammered.

The crusades have obviously never ended according to you. This is 2012. From what I've seen we're in more danger from well armed militias...and their kooks. The gun manufacturers and their lobbying group, the NRA, are getting rich from the fear, fear, FEAR of manufactured Islamaphobia. This is being pushed by the fundamentalist churches and their ilk.

There was a time in this country, before Reagan, when these same people were marginalized as they should be...now they run for president, congress, governor etc. The crazy gets news coverage in 'fair and balanced' soft ball interviews. We are a nation of lunatics.

I am sure I don't need to remind you of the Spanish Inquisitions where Muslims and Jews were ordered to convert or leave Spain. Those that refused were tortured and burned at the stake.

Or the Mormon missionaries today who bribe and threaten the poor in third world countries with food and medicine in exchange for conversion.
