The official GOP platform is for a constitional amendment outlawing abortion, bestowing 14th amdendment rights on fertilized egg, and does not exempt the women's life or rape pregnancies. You must be fucking stupid or think all women are.

I do not believe in giving a childs right to live precedence over a woman's right to live Darla. I give the childs right to live precedent over a woman deciding to kill the child rather than accepting responsibility, along with the father, for their actions.

And this is where your argument falls apart. It isn't "a woman" making the decision. It is the unborn child's mother. The mother is the only one with the right to make such a decision. And as long as the unborn child resides within the body of the mother, it is a part of the mother and she can kill it if she so chooses. End of story.

1) If the woman's life is in danger then it is a right to life vs. a right to life. That decision should be made by the woman.

2) In the case of rape, the pregnancy is obviously not a result of the woman's choice as it is in all other pregnancies. I support the right of the child to live, but also cannot support forcing a woman to carry to term a rapists child. It would be her choice.

Darla simply wishes to paint everyone as black or white. If you don't agree with her that women should have the right to kill all unborn children, then you are a woman hater who wishes to dehumanize women. Which is quite ironic given her insistence in dehumanizing the unborn child despite genetics telling us otherwise.

In fact, the personhood amendment, which the GOP just adopted as their official platform, treats women as a criminal class who need to beg favor to male enforcers if they suffer a miscarriage. This is the real life outcome of this language, were it to be implemented. Oh, and they will implement it, given the chance.
