LOL... we have seen maps of the 'percentages' of the states... how about the map of the total number of people? I am sure the heavily populated states in the NE as well as CA might just have more raw numbers than the southern states.

That's not how his remarks are being perceived, is it? It probably would've been a much better idea for Romney to distinguish clearly what he meant, rather than offer up lame excuses such as he was talking to 'business people', and affirming that he stands by what he says.
