I have not changed my position once. I never claimed they were "spontaneous protesters." You ae just a liar. I would call the people who attacked the consulate terrorists. I never had any reservation about that. But I am not sure that means the same thing to me that it does to you.
But "act of terror"?!?!? no no no no according to you Obama (and somehow I am responsible for everything he says in your warped little mind) said it was "acts of terror" and that difference is important. Don't you remember?

I have not changed my position. I never said it was just a spontaneous protest and you can't cite where I have. I don't even know if there was a protest in Benghazi. You on the other hand definitely said they were a "known radical Islamic terrorist groups" and can't back that up so instead you have resorted solely to ad homs here.

You are treating the words racism and black (or African American) as being almost synonymous. That is your American upbringing.
The Chinese are probably the most racist people in the world, racism is sanctioned by their government and by their language and culture, but it has nothing to do with being black. Now, I know that people like me, of a certain age, were brought up with certain prejudices, and most of us have tried to stifle and logically fight those prejudices that were put into our young minds. So when someone admits they treat ‘differently’ coloured people as different I can give them something of a pass.
BUT when someone is so woefully ignorant that, despite all the evidence to the contrary and despite recent social changes and laws, would rather be led by a man who is
a) a proven liar,
b) a man who has entered the presidential race because he is rich- not because he has policies and who waits for polls to tell him what he should promote,
c) a man who follows the ‘teachings’ of a convicted felon, a man who lied and cheated and was eventually murdered for his pains,
d) a man who thinks running a nation of 300 million souls is like running a factory making washers,
e) a man who literally does not know where his foreign allies are and more importantly does not know where the countries of his enemies are,
rather than a coloured man who, despite the problems thrust upon him by global affairs, has managed not only to stop the slide started by his predecessor but to show signs of a definite economic turn around and then they excuse their revolting prejudice by citing an occurrence in Libya when an American Ambassador was killed and rather than help make sure it never happens again get a hard on because they think they have a stick with which to beat the black guy.
No where else, I promise you, no where else would those people scream that filth and walk free.
I don’t hate America. I like America. I look forward to an America with whom the world can be at ease, an America whose president and people are welcomed wherever they go,
but I will join with the millions round the world who hate what America has become and I will do the little I can to fight this evil that you call the right wing of the republican party.
We saw it in Germany in the 30s. We won’t sit back and allow the ‘Razors’ and ‘Dixies’ and ‘I-like-Americas’ to fuck up our world again.

TRIPOLI, Libya -- It began around nightfall on Sept. 11 with around 150 bearded gunmen, some wearing the Afghan-style tunics favored by Islamic militants, sealing off the streets leading to the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. They set up roadblocks with pick-up trucks mounted with heavy machine guns, according to witnesses.
The trucks bore the logo of Ansar al-Shariah, a powerful local group of Islamist militants who worked with the municipal government to manage security in Benghazi, the main city in eastern Libya and birthplace of the uprising last year that ousted Moammar Gadhafi after a 42-year dictatorship.

It is well known that the so-called 'rebels' came from Benghazi .. as it has also been known for many years that Benghazi is the home of Al Queda and the world's hotbed of terrorism. It is also well-known that many of the fighters who fought against US troops in Iraq came from Benghazi. It is also known that Stevens and the CIA set-up shop in Benghazi among known terrorists and Al Queda and directed and assisted their activities in the overthrow of Gaddafi who was assisting the west in the war onm terror and jailing Al Queda terrorists from the very place the US set-up shop.
As soon as Gaddafi was overthrown, the terrorists were let out of jail.

They evacuated staffers to a security compound across town, where they continued to come under fire. A precision mortar hit the compound's building at 4 a.m., killing two other Americans.

Just watched an hour long special on the Benghazi fiasco and even more details are coming out.....but they beg more questions that no one wants to
give a straight answer to.....like the drones overhead watching the attack in real time.....were they armed ? and if they were, why weren't they used to
help those Americans on the ground.....
Were C130 gunships available....the attack lasted well over 8 hours....why weren't they deployed to assist....there were carriers in the Med....where were
their planes ?
Obama said he gave orders to protect those on the ground.....who did he give those orders to.....why weren't they obeyed....exactly what were those orders....

Well, I have to eat a little crow here. The editing made it a little unclear what all was being added to the article and some of the misleading information comes from the original source.
Specifically, Susan Rice DID NOT claim that the attack definitely grew out of "spontaneous protest." She relayed what WAS the CIA's claim at the time that she taped her interviews. There is NO proof of a cover up or any conspiracy.

No, they watched the attacks as they happened in real time, as the people on the ground begged for help. They were perfectly clear on what was happening, we were under attack and had people begging for help. The "it was unclear" excuse went down in flames when the story about the emails surfaced, and then the stories about the drones sending livestream back to the WH, and then the stories of the repeated requests for support came out. So, no... they weren't "unclear" about anything. They were perfectly clear on what happened, they just refused to help those people and they died. Now there will be a price to pay for that.
