Nope, I didn't. But my point is that she was willing to label me a racist without finding out who I voted for or why. I was labeled a racist because of the color of my skin (and perhaps where I live).
Sounds like racism to me.

Exactly. She jumps lumps everyone together. Her meme has been the same for a long time and it's pretty simply if you're a Republican you're a racist (and if you're white and didn't vote for Obama or Romney you're still racist for not voting for Obama).

I don't understand the mindless hate being spewed on this thread. All Desh did was post linked facts. Can anyone dispute any of the above numbers? These numbers have driven at least six people here bat shit sideways.
Can you dispute them? If not, they are facts. Mindlessly striking out at Desh won't change them.
It's really interesting reading this thread because she posted facts, and people went batshit. Looks like a lot of nerves got whacked. Talk about protesting too much eh?

These numbers came from exit polls. As we know from the past exit polls have been shown to be wrong. That doesn't mean these numbers are necessarily wrong but I don't assume them to be proven factual numbers.
That aside, Desh posted these numbers for a reason and that's because she thinks it proves white Republicans are racist. Even someone who went to school where Superfreak did can figure out what her M.O. was. Desh also wants a response. Look at her comments on the housing thread she started when no one responded. She went nuts herself.
I know tone is hard to detect on many posts. I know for me there have been posts I've made where I've literally been seething and I'm shaking as I'm typing because I've been so mad (not proud to say that but it is a fact). And others times I'm laughing and having fun. I can only speak for myself but I found this thread quite funny because it was so transparent.

I can only speak for myself, but the two issues I have are the accuracy of exit polls and the automatic assumption that anyone voting for someone besides Obama is racist.
I voted by mail, so there was no exit pollster waiting for me at the post office. I question who was asked what questions and by whom. I always find polls like this suspect.
And the assumption that anyone not voting for Obama is doing so for racist reasons seems seriously flawed as well. I also thought it amusing that Desh felt obliged to lump me in with the racists, in order to keep her story going.

Exit polls have been shown to be quite accurate in the past though. In fact, they have been used to track election fraud in other countries. Not in America of course when the election polling conflicted with the 2000 outcome. That doesn't mean they were wrong though.
Even so, let's say they're wrong. How wrong? 10% of white voters in Mississippi voted for Obama according to exit polls. Just how wrong is that number? How wrong would it have to be to even begin to make that number look like something that WASN'T greatly affected by racial animus?
I think you're taking this way too personally. NO one is saying you are a racist, and if Desh did say that, she is wrong about that. You're not. But on this very board Razor, Bravo, Alias, SJ, are all racists, openly so. There are at least five others, in fact, more, who are subtly racist, but definitely racist. Do you really believe that racisim had nothing to do with their vote against Obama? With their hatred for him? Come on, stop now.
It seems to me that you, WB, Sf, and many others here demand, demand, that no one mention that hey, there are a lot of fucking racists! And guess what? Yeah, it affects how they vote.
I see a lot of white Republican voters who become infuriated anytime a liberal mentions racism in their party, or on the part of Republican voters. Desh linked to an article that has some very, very, eyebrow-raising polling data. And that's all she did. You guys got really defensive over it. I think it's because many of you know there are many racists in your party. Or in WB's case, region. There are racists here too. I can't tell you how many people I know and have known who supported HIllary (and I don't mean PUMA's, I mean white men too, not PUMA's, who I don't even think really exist for the most part) and who will support her if she runs in 2016. They lean Democratic.
They have not cast one vote for Obama and have nothing good to say about him. Now someone can say oh it's because he's a socialist, but that's factually wrong. It's not opinion. It's factually wrong. Or someone can say it's because of this or that. But let's be real. Come on, let's just be real. I know they're fucking racists. I am not defensive about it because they vote Democrat often, or because they live in NY, or because we're both white. I think they're assholes. I'm not sensitive about it.
