What a tragic story

I taught my daughters to take care of themselves, to be aware of their surroundings at all times, to not take risky chances and make stupid decisions.....
doesn't everyone ?

You play in traffic, don't blame the freakin' drivers that run over you.

I taught my daughters sons to take care of themselves, to be aware of their surroundings at all times, to not take risky chances and make stupid decisions based on their hormones.

15 Rape Prevention Tips

1. Don’t put drugs in women’s drinks. 2. When you see a woman walking by herself, leave her alone.
3. If you pull over to help a woman whose car has broken down, remember not to rape her.
4. If you are in an elevator and a woman gets in, don’t rape her.
5. When you encounter a woman who is asleep, the safest course of action is to not rape her.
6. Never creep into a woman’s home through an unlocked door or window, or spring out at her from between parked cars, or rape her.
7. Remember, people go to the laundry room to do their laundry. Do not attempt to molest someone who is alone in a laundry room.
8. Use the Buddy System! If it is inconvenient for you to stop yourself from raping women, ask a trusted friend to accompany you at all times.
9. Carry a rape whistle. If you find that you are about to rape someone, blow the whistle until someone comes to stop you.
10. If you see a nice lady with loose clothing that would easily be removed, only remove it with her consent. Don’t rape her.
11. If there is a woman being distracted by a handheld device, don’t use that as an excuse to rape her.
12. Don’t get into the passenger seat of unlocked cars unless you know the driver, they have offered you a ride, and you are not going to rape them.
13. Carry pepper spray with you. When ever you get the urge to rape someone, spray directly into your eyes.
14. If a woman tells you to stop touching her or making sexual advances, no matter how intimate you have become at this point, stop. If you do not you will become a rapist.
15. Don’t forget: Honesty is the best policy. When asking a woman out on a date, don’t pretend that you are interested in her as a person; tell her straight up that you expect to be raping her later. If you don’t communicate your intentions, the woman may take it as a sign that you do not plan to rape her.

You left out: that if you are accused of rape, just admit it and never ever try to defend yourself; just like the Duck Lacroosse players.

Everyone so ready to blame the girl, but not a one of these shining examples of "manhood" ready to blame the men who passed that poor girl around like a party favor.
hey moron, answer the fucking question instead of resorting to hyperbolic bullshit.

Thanks, love this!

Ditto. It's one of the best things I have ever read. It is revolutionary in its premise, it makes me want to cheer! I would love to see this as widely disseminated to boys and men as those blame-the-woman "prevention tips" have been to girls and women. It really turns everything on its head, and put the onus (and prevention responsibility) where it belongs; on the rapist.

I love it Christie.

It's dumb, but it does provide insight into how you bitches think.

How they think: If you rape someone, that's your fault, not theirs. Sure, taking measures to prevent rape is a great idea, but not doing so doesn't put blame on the victim, or take it from the assailant.

No. They think that the natural tendency of males is to rape, because males are fueled by testosterone and can't control themselves. They therefore want society to make men effeminate. These bitches should be dykes because they hate men so much.

Since you failed to chastise your ideological brethren for this: your characterization rings completely hollow.

Then since you let this wonderful little comment slide with nary a word about how NOVA is "denigrating to women"...

Christiefan tells her daughter to get naked and dance on the bar, and don't worry, nothing that happens afterward will be your fault....

Well then that makes you just as two-faced as those you've been scolding.

You seem to have a problem with the concept of blame enough to pass around. Let me try a different way. The criminology school of Routine Activities theory states in order for a crime to occur there must be a motivated offender, a suitable target and a lack of necessary guardian. If any of this are not present, the crime will not occur.

Let's take this and apply it to the situation.

Motivated Offender: Drunk ass college students looking for sex.
Suitable Target: Girl of appropriate age.
Lack of Guardianship: I'm going to say being drunk off her ass counts as no longer being a guardian.

Now we take the next step, she can't do anything about guys wanting sex, well she could but castration without consent is illegal. She could do something about being at the party, if she wasn't there it wouldn't occur, and likewise if she wasn't lacking in guardianship, IE stayed sober or had a friend along, this probably wouldn't have occurred.

Now let's get to the key point of this which seems to be missing from what was referred to as the "V Trinities" responses. It was within her power to prevent this. It was also within the power of the offender's but they don't really want to prevent it, so we're left with the person who wants to prevent rape being the one who should have been the most highly motivated to prevent crime. I would reffer to this as defensive living, I lock my car, I lock my house, I don't leave my wallet lying around at work and I don't wander around downtown at two in the morning drunk off my ass. If I were to be victimized while the criminal would still be the one prosecuted, I would have been in a position to prevent victimization altogether.

Main message here. If you want rapists prosecuted and imprisoned, continue to get drunk around strange men. If you want rapes not to occur, try to think ahead.

Wrong, since I denigrate individual women myself; I treat them no differently than I treat men of the same ilk. You were the one chastising me for calling your ideological brethren sluts and bitches while at the same time calling women of my ideology shanks and whores.

You sir, are one hypocritical biatch.

Thank you, your answers is so refreshing after the mouth breather Skanky's post! Lol

two things need to be said about this.
1) it's terribly sad that this even needs to be said, because it's so true for quite a few predators.....and
2) it's terribly sad that some women on here can't get past their daddy issues and stop lumping all men in their misogynistic ideology.

Who does that?? NOtice my post said "rapists" not "men". First of all, men can be the victims of rape, and most importantly, feminists like me are more aware than the general population that not all men rape. Rapists rape. Rape is not a misunderstanding, studies show that men know they are raping. Many of them target drunk victims, because they know they are least likely to be reported, and even less likely to be convicted. But they know they are raping the victim, that is what they enjoy. THey enjoy that. Most men do not enjoy this, and most men don't rape.

It infuriates me how the fact is that feminists are actually men's best friends, but so many people like you have been brainwashed otherwise. I deal with this daily, and it always amazes me. My very own niece is in constant battles because she wants to hang out with boys and other girls, who are friends. My sister in law, who is a right winger and absolutely and loudly not a feminist, is convinced she is going to be raped! My niece is very smart, and complains to me about this and tells me, they're not going to rape me. I told her that her mother should not be teaching her that all boys are rapists because nothing could be further from the truth. And I warn her about actual rapists, and their methods, including targeting girls who have been drinking, but am clear that most men and most boys are NOT rapists.

You guys seriously have no idea what you are talking about. No one is more aware than I am that most men do not rape, that rapists rape, and that rapists know they are raping.

Wonderfully stated. Kudos.
