I just prayed for all the right wing believers to go away? Did it work? Give me, howey and many others a reason to believe. You are called to spread the faith so if you return you are probably going to hell.
I'm actually quite religious. However, I believe in an Almighty who teaches faith and love, not hatred and spite. My God wouldn't wreck havoc, death and destruction on a land because they didn't pray enough.

Yes, I have earnestly prayed. I earnestly prayed for people to be spared pain and devastation. They weren't. I watched my friend pray for his daughter to live. She didn't. I was part of a group that earnestly prayed for a little kid's return to his family. The body was found in the woods a few weeks later. I have watched children earnestly pray for their parents. I have watched parents earnestly pray for their kids. I have watched fathers earnestly pray for work. I have watched dying parents earnestly pray to be spared until their children were old enough to understand.
But you want to tell us that earnestly praying would have stopped the tornado? Tell me, do you think God would have cooled the warm air, warmed the cool air, or just waved his hand and told the clouds not to rotate? Or maybe the tornado went where it went because people somewhere else prayed more earnestly, so God rerouted the storm??
A tornado is a natural phenomenon.

I fail to see where I said prayer could have averted this. In fact, I don't think all the prayer in the world could have averted this. I asked Howey a question.
I do think prayer has an immense impact on the psych and that this pours over into all other aspects of life. In a good way.
Prayer to me shows a general willingness to change something. Anyone who sincerely prays should also have the courage to make their prayers a reality.
Of course prayer won't change outcomes like this. God is above all of use and that means that whatever happens as a result of him is as well.

That's not what the right wing loon at untoward says...he said that.the tornado in OK was probably a "weather weapon" used to take the media's eye away from scandals.
