Yes, it was about race....from day one when GZ was described as a "white" Hispanic....
When Obama made his racial remark on tv...

The sad thing is that this isn't about justice to them. Well, let me rephrase that. Justice to them isn't whether the law was followed. Justice = revenge. Nothing less than Zimmerman being convicted whether he deserved to be or not would satisfy BAC and Poet and I am not even sure that would satisfy them.

It is unfortunate, because in their blind hatred and stubborn inability to break from the 1960s, they are missing the racism that is being directed at their people from the democrat party here and now.

Yes, what happened in this incident was tragic and I am sure everyone wishes it could be taken back, but it was not an act of racism. What sickened me through the whole thing was the knots these folks twisted themselves in trying to paint Zimmerman as a "white" guy. They were stuck on that narrative and by golly nothing was going to get them to change it.

The only thing comparable about these 2 tragedies is that they are both just that - tragic.

It ends there. No one is served by taking this to such over-the-top extremes. The fact is, the current case is probably one that shouldn't have even gone to trial; it should have surprised no one that they didn't have enough to find GZ guilty.

yes they are the product of a town mired in racism since its founding when the BLACK people in the area founded it.

I don't "hang out" on teen web sites but I monitored them when my kids were younger. And you're 100% naive if you think pictures like this are uncommon on those sites. Lots of kids in that age group pretend they're tougher than they are.

and for the record.... My people were slaves fro the 14th Century onward till the middle of the 19th. almost 3/4 of my people were shipped of and sold as slaves. 75% of an entire race and we endured it for almost 600 years.
