which again is complete nonsense. Till's murder was just that... premeditated murder. He was killed because some white people didn't like him talking to a white girl. They planned it and brutally executed him. The jury in turn completely ignored all the facts of the case.
In contrast, Zimmerman did not plan to go out and kill Martin. His neighborhood had been burglarized in the recent past. He profiled Martin based on those previous incidents. He followed Martin. In the past Zimmermans calls showed he did not want confrontation. Yet in this case a confrontation occurred. While we don't know for sure who started it, we do know who was getting the worst of it. Legally there was not enough evidence to convict based on what was presented by the prosecution. The jury made the right call based on what was presented to them. This doesn't mean the prosecution shouldn't be looked at for how they did their job. It doesn't mean they were right in keeping the trial local instead of moving it. The race of the victim is indeed the same in both cases, but that is where the similarities end that I can see. Feel free to point out others as you see them.

I've never tried. I think the idea was a good one, but that the government, as it is wont to to do, stripped it of cash dumping your retirement into the general budget and leaving you IOUs, bloated it beyond recognition, and refuses to address the problems thus ensuring that by the time I get to participate it will not exist in the form we see it now.
I don't want to "unring" a bell, I want to ensure that it doesn't crack like the Liberty Bell so that we can keep ringing that bell in the future.
