Economist consensus is 2.5% growth

I thought he was drunk, but I hadn't considered this. Definitely, something happened, that's for sure.
The National Association for Business Economics says it believes growth in the third quarter -- the period from July through September -- slowed to a pace of around 2.4 percent. It predicts the growth rate in the final three months of this year will be around 2.5 percent.
2.5% is pretty crappy. Subpar.

Good point. The republican motto since 2001, has bascially been: "Well, maybe we kind of suck, but it still could be worse!"

no way on the war dude, not sure I was here back then but I have to sons and have always maintained a big fat not sending anyone else's kids if mine aren't going and I'd fight only if someone invaded here.
