Liberal war on Christians and Christmas

I enjoy having enemies. I also enjoy having friends. One of my best friends is a guy named Scott...he was in my wedding, I was in his. He is a Tea Party conservative trying to unseat Lindsay Graham in South Carolina through his support of Mr Cash, who seems like he would be a decent conservative.

I LOVE having intelligent discussions with intelligent conservatives. I also love auto racing. And your enemies have as much in common with intelligent conservativism as those goofy Fast and Furious movies do with real auto racing. False, irrational, idiotic conservativism and the Fast and Furious movies have another thing in common-a wide awake eighth grader can easily tell you that both are a sham.

I do not want them to park their faith at the door. I also do not think that Christianity should become a state religion...seeing as how being a state religion in Europe pretty much was so successful for Christianity.
 
When I was living in Maine, I was really good friends with a democratic state representative who shall remain nameless.... once, during a political debate, someone asked him what he thought about Bill Clinton saying that he smoked but did not inhale. My friend replied, "I always thought the idea was trying not to exhale!" He was reelected, of course.

Really sad that Maine has such an absolute utter moron for their current Governor. Lie Nielson makes excellent woodworking tools, and I am about to buy several. Feeling guilty about sending money to a state that elected such a looser to such a high office.....you have my sympathy, sir.

Well... I got out a couple of years ago and now live in Mexico... but I agree... LePage is an embarrassment.
 
Pretty much I think the whole war on Christmas thing is a distraction. We have the worst ever speaker of the house in Mr Boehner, and a wildly dysfunctional congress. War on Christmas is just hype to distract us on how inept our current leadership is at the house level in Washington.
 
....and great, a Zappa fan.....he had the good fortune to hate the Republican party, as well as some traditional forms of religion. Interested to see what you think about a few things....

Oh not just a fan, he was one of the greatest musicians who ever lived.

He wasn't too fond of the Democrats either, but it was definitely the phony purveyors of modern religion for which he held the most contempt.
