and we somehow KNEW in advance that American lives would be lost if the additional security wasn't delivered? If THAT were the case, then Stevens was derelict in putting those people in harm's way.

The fact of the matter is, lots of ambassadors request lots of stuff from the state department.... not all of those requests can or do get honored. Is that really so fucking tough for you to comprehend?

One wonders when the Republican party will come up with ideas that are original and work for the common good of the country. As a fan of seagoing vessils, I also wonder when the Titanic will float to the surface and proceed on to New York with a smiling captain Smith at the helm.

Until then, they can always attack dems.....

Quite frankly, I prefer logic and science to luck and conservative forms of religion. You get a lot further and live a lot better. Just sayin....

And I have no trouble with liberal or tolerant forms of religion, such as your old denomination UCC maneman. If your ever in Columbus, we ahve a UCC church downtown that has two fo the best pipe organs in the country. FANTASTIC concerts there. Would love to take you and your wife if your ever in Buckeye country.

At the very least, cutting taxes and running huge deficits as the Republicans have done for eyars is not conducive to have the funds needed for protecting our diplomats. What have the Republicans done to make sure this does not happen again?
