Hilarious the backflips you cons do to defend your own. Yeah rummyy's WMD intel was wrong, how convenient. Joe Wilson told the bushies there was no evidence of WMD way before the war started but that didn't stop the headlong rush, did it. The intel was wrong on Benghazi too but you clowns don't cut Hillary and Rice any slack over it.
Let's not forget Hans Blix...who actually knew what was, and wasn't going on in Iraq. Anyone who stood in the way of Cheney's covert plans, was summarily dismissed.

When Bush failed miserably at finding Bin Laden, he steered billion$ to the Iraq failed 'blood for oil' campaign. Since he left town, we spend money not because we have any real plans for Afghanistan, but because our presence there gives us the necessary proximity to our real problem....Pakistan. Karzai is butthurt because he'll have to find a real job now.

how long did we know the whereabouts of bin laden before taking him out.....

Any imagined "blood for oil campaign" was strictly a figment of left wing lunatics dreamed up by left wing lunatics and sold to left wing lunatics
and still believed by only some left wing lunatics.

did niger ever deny that iraq was attempting to purchase yellow cake and did blix not prior to the invasion admit that he could not say whether saddam possessed wmd because he was denied unfettered inspection....in this honest ignorance on your part or intellectual corruption on display.....

Whereabouts? You mean to question the variety of rumors circulating during the Bush years? 'He's living in a cave, with his dialysis machine'?

Did Bush know where he was, and have more pressing business in Iraq? I'm not sure what you're asking.

Or are you laying the foundation for a bogus claim about water boarding, and finding Bin Laden?

Blix reported that if not for Hussein's 'cat and mouse games', the disarmament would have been over years earlier, and 10 years of sanctions could've been avoided.

Now, if you're genuinely interested, you could read Blix for yourself.

This is Dr. Blix’s account of what really happened during the months leading up to the declaration of war in March 2003. In riveting descriptions of his meetings with Tony Blair, Jacques Chirac, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, and Kofi Annan, he conveys the frustrations, the tensions, the pressure and the drama as the clock ticked toward the fateful hour. In the process, he asks the vital questions about the war: Was it inevitable? Why couldn’t the U.S. and UK get the backing of the other member states of the UN Security Council? Did Iraq have weapons of mass destruction? What does the situation in Iraq teach us about the propriety and efficacy of policies of preemptive attack and unilateral action?

Free of the agendas of politicians and ideologues, Blix is the plainspoken, measured voice of reason in the cacophony of debate about Iraq. His assessment of what happened is invaluable in trying to understand both what brought us to the present state of affairs and what we can learn as we try to move toward peace and security in the world after Iraq.

not sure what i am asking....let me break it down for you....early on it was reported that we had located osama as early as sept or even earlier....this was reported by those right wing hit men in the nyt....so why the delay and why does the president look like a little boy who arrived late for class, and what is mrs bill gasping at if as panetta stated they had no real time feed of what was happening in the compound....just asking questions miss....and how did we derive osamas location....again just asking questions....did niger verify that it was there belief that iraq was attempting to acquire enriched uranium...did blix admit that he had no idea as to whether iraq had wmd because he was not really allowed to inspect....

Wolfie, Perle, the whole lot of them. They all are traitorous cowards in my book.

Don't agree with the "Wolfowitz Doctrine"...huh?

So you have no problem with country's like Iran and North Korea developing a nuclear arsenal and missile program on a par the ours, huh ?

You'd have problem with our trying to prevent " hostile power from dominating a region whose resources would, under consolidated control, be sufficient to generate global power."

You would have a problem with a US goal to "
strengthen and extend the system of defense arrangements that binds democratic and like-minded nations together in common defense against aggression"

You would have a problem with a provision that "we will retain the preeminent responsibility for addressing selectively those wrongs which threaten not only our interests, but those of our allies or friends"

Maybe it would be easier if you just point out EXACTLY what the fuck problems you have with the so called "
Wolfowitz Doctrine"
I know its probably to 'macho' for you, but be specific

you did not answer the question....prior to mar 2003 did hans blix admit that he did not know if iraq had wmd because of their "cat and mouse games"....simple question, a yes or no will do....

Seems they know the general talking points issued to them, they just can't vomit up the specifics of any issue....

No. He told them not to play cat-and-mouse games re: inspections. He didn't say anything about not knowing whether Iraq had WMD because of those games.

"The United Nations' chief weapons inspector, Dr Hans Blix, warned Saddam Hussein last night that there must be no "cat and mouse" games on the ground in Iraq.

Hours before leaving the UN in New York to resume inspections after a four-year break, Dr Blix used unusually tough language to insist on full co-operation from the Iraqi regime.

Aware of the huge responsibility on his shoulders as the United States and its allies prepare for a military campaign against Saddam, the 74-year-old Swede also acknowledged his own role in helping decide whether there will be war or peace in the Middle East.

There must be no repeat of the Iraqis' past antics, such as denying access, refusing to escort inspectors to key sites or out and out deception, he insisted:"Cat and mouse is something that I am sure will not be tolerated in the future."

The head of Unmovic, the UN's Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission, described his job as providing a "credible" and "effective" look at any of Iraq's plans to produce weapons of mass destruction.

Kinda hard to discern exactly what you're attempting to offer here? If you want to know why Obama didn't just rush headlong into Pakistan, as soon as the intel was 'almost sure', about Bin Laden, I'm assuming the question was rhetorical.

As far as the 'yellow cake' joke, that's long since been dismissed as idiotic. Why do you ignore the fact that when Saddam was launching U.S made chemical weapons at Iran, we were happy to look the other way. We knew that no matter what he might attempt to concoct, it was never going to be a threat to the U.S. Yellow cake, aluminum tubes...blah, blah, blah.

Are you talking about this NY Times article?

The information about Iraq's desire to acquire the ore, known as yellowcake, was used by the Bush administration to help justify the invasion of Iraq, notably by President Bush in his State of the Union address in January 2003. But the information was later revealed to have been based on forgeries.

Now keep on referring to [sic] niger, as if it has some inkling of pertinence to anything.

She's forgetting about the infamous "Sixteen Words" in the SOTU speech: "The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa."

For those of us who lived through it, we remember every lie and deception. I'm guessing there are a few here who were more interested in 'Spongebob' in '03

So....you believed the bizarre liberal media reports about caves and dialysis machines and call Leon Panetta a liar about the 'enhanced' questioning techniques used....
