hey I'm not going to get further into this -I can't respond to an image. I imagine West Virginia/Appalachia skew the numbers -but whatever.

Inner city poverty is complex. brownfields, crappy infrastructure " dumping" of poverty.

All I really know is the quality of life continues to decline in Baltimore - while the money increases.
Something is wrong.
But it's not my bag, I'm not even there anymore. I wish inner cities the best of luck.

Republicans stand against everything black.

Are you aware that democrats had more blacks in the US Congress in 1970 then republicans have had COLLECTIVELY from Reconstruction to now?

Your party is virtually all-white .. try dealing with that.

Democrats will address the issues of BLM and police violence, republicans wouldn't do that in a million years.

Why would I vote for someone from an all-white party that hates black people?

and have those Democrat blacks in Congress solved the problems of the black community?.....have the Democrat mayors and city councils solved the problems of the black community?.....have the Democrat school boards solved the problems of inner city schools?......

You're talking about poor CITIES .. I'm talking about entire COUNTIES and whole STATES in poverty and under republican control.

Don't respond to the image, read the article and respond to that.

There is a very good reason why republicans have lost just about every social issue they care about .. AND, as the nation gets browner .. expect a lot more losses.

They sure as hell haven't solved or even helped the poor whites who vote for them.

Are you of the opinion that you can discern what's best for black people than black people can?

Why is it important to you who we vote for?

Who you vote for is not important to me or blacks in general. Simply do not care.

Could it be that who we vote for is only important to you because we don't vote for republicans .. thus giving democrats a HUGE advantage in presidential elections?

You're just talking about what's best for you and your party, not what's best for black people.

I'm familiar with the statistics........a state like Mississippi is a poor state it is run by Republicans.......but the vast majority of the poor in that state live in cities and towns run by Democrats.......I know it and you know it.......so you can say all you want that nine of the ten poorest states are run by Republicans but we both know that the poor people in those states live in places run by Democrats.......
