Should an act of expression be a crime?

He's a master manipulator. I wish that would translate into sound policy.

It's weird that his blind worshippers love that - they love that he just fucks w/ people, and plays this sort of unhinged game w/ twitter & the rest. As though it's a positive for a world leader.

Its a dangerous game, gambling with the very principals that make America free and great.

wat personal attacks @__@ i never do that unless i call bill faggit.

My position is i dont care about flag burning. I care that the left further marginalizes itself from the rest of the country and this is awesome for that.

Don't worry about the backlash when everyone realizes they've been played.

Should Americans be prosecuted for expressing unhappiness with an American policy? The Nation, the people, the government, the Country?

I am very uncomfortable when a person with power starts suggesting this. Thank God for checks and balances but they are not foolproof.

Do any Trump supporters feel uncomfortable with Trump suggesting that people lose Citizenship or be put in jail for political dissent?

The liberals do that on a regular basis....we're all supposed to have freedom to express our views, yet you will never condemn the idiots on college campuses that
routinely shout down or otherwise prevent any conservative to speak on campus .... seems like you think one side has more rights than the other side....

Now its some businesses firing employees that supported Trump...
Some refusing to do business with Trump supporters, etc.....
you don't seem to be very concerned about that do you....isn't that being persecuted for exercising our freedoms of speech ?

I don't know exactly what Trump said about flag burners, but its obvious that he, nor anyone else can take away anyones citizenship and impractible
to put them in jail....

So you don't care either way about trumps expressed desire to use the law to suppress political opposition?

Do you not understand difference between government and private enterprise doing it

nope. Because its just meant to elicit a reaction to weaken the left. you guys will figure te game out eventually. Morning joe actually told the media to not react to it because he saw thru it right away but they wont do that.

If anything the romney issue showed me that the trump base are willing to abnon im if we truly thought he was going in the wrong direction.

btw you can make all the distinctions about private/ublic you want but in the year of safe spaces, trigger warnings, micro aggressions, most people will just laugh at your defense of free speech.

btw normally these things inlcude openness willingness to accept immigrants etc.

I just wanna point out when these things were on we had 2 billion people world wide? now we are at 8? It doesnt seem to be slowing down either. Eventually these principles will change whether you like it or not.

So, you think we should take another look at the 2nd amendment because when it was written, there were only muskets?

sure why not. I understand the people in my coalition dont want to so ill vote no just to keep te coalition with them though since its not an important issue for me.

You guys don't "express unhappiness with an American policy", at least not anymore. You throw violent, adult-sized temper tantrums where people are injured, property is destroyed and commerce is interrupted. Not to mention, it's fucking endless. I mean, yeah, we get it. You're pissed off about something or other. Now get the hell out of the middle of the road so I can get to work and pay for your free shit. And by the way, if I run you over and snap your spine with my truck, then no, I don't think you should be prosecuted. Hopefully that would be a life lesson.

I like that sig, callinectes.....very powerful message....

If someone is injured or someone else's property is damaged, that is a crime and is actionable. Protesting and speaking out, no matter how upset it makes you and no matter how often I do it, is my right.

It doesn't "upset" me, at least until someone gets hurt, then it just pisses me off and your issues lose all credibility. Actually, your side has never really HAD any credibility because you're not willing to arm up and really fight for your beliefs. The idea of picking up a weapon and engaging in combat with your so-called "oppressors" is abhorrent to you. How many of these idiots are actually being prosecuted for just protesting anyway? March and carry signs until you turn blue or starve for all I care, but don't get violent and don't lose sight of the fact that the very country you're protesting is providing you a safe space to protest in, but bring your own puppies and coloring books.
