Dear ignoramus; the title is intended to dupe morons like you. Within the chart it clearly says "TAX" subsides. However, TAX treatment is not a subsidy by any stretch of the definition.

There are many tidal current experiments under way in US.
The current in the Cape Cod Canal alone exceeds 5 knots as does the race in Long Island Sound and the Gut at Woods Hole.
The flow in the Bay of Fundy alone is enough to power the eastern half of the continent.
Not that it matters since the fact that the we already have sufficient nonfossil baseload makes your ridiculous proclamation moot, so again, shut the fuck up.

I will agree to all of this. It is actually the one form of alternative energy that does not rely on the weather. Just tides. Like clockwork. Never ending.

That being said Cap, Milagro brings up the currently realistic side of the world energy need equation. Everyone on the alternative bus needs to see the reality and current shortcomings of alternatives thus far. Never heard him say alternatives could not be viable at some point, just that they are not capable today to take on the current world need energy levels.

You both have good points. I think if both sides could find some common ground everyone would be surprised how quickly things could change.
