Imagine .. an American president who can't even get a loan from an American Bank, so he has to do his banking with foreigners.

Beyond his knucklehead base, nobody believes him.

Our electoral college (not the American people) appear to have elected a gluttonous, overweight, lecherous, egotistical, orange, old man who might be suffering from dementia and is undeniably a pathological liar.

I mean, I never really paid much attention to Drumpf or his reality TV shows, so maybe the guy has been pathologically dishonest his whole life.

But, I started to take notice how far outside the political norm he is when he lied about being against the invasion of Iraq, he relentlessly lied about birth certificates, and he lied about thousands of Muslims dancing in the streets of New Jersey on September 11, 2001.

There is something really wrong with him, mentally. I hope Obamacare covers it!

The bolded is the most striking aspect of his personality.

His supporters have already devolved to the rock-bottom defense that "everyone lies." They always point to "you can keep your doctor/healthcare plan" from Obama. There are others that are like this from other Presidents: Bush Sr. and his "no new taxes," Bush Jr. and "we won't engage in nation-building," even back to Reagan and "we won't negotiate w/ terrorists."

But those are such a different category to me. They fall more under "broken promises," and overly optimistic thinking. Obama and Reagan even apologized for their bad promises.

Trump literally just says stuff. He doesn't CARE if it's true or not. How can a guy say he has investigators in Hawaii and "cannot believe what they're finding" when it's pretty clear that he never did, and that there was nothing uncovered that was surprising at all? The birther lies, the 9/11 lies, the lies about Cruz, Obama wiretapping, crowd sizes, margins of victory, levels of unemployment, etc. etc. etc. - all are situations where he KNEW he was lying. And did anyway.

He is a textbook pathological liar. When he says "believe me," it's a tell. It means don't.
