The governor appears to be satisfied and since he is on the ground and you are not, I will take his word for it

in the town of San Lorenzo, about 40 miles west of the capital, people walked through calf-high water to get supplies because the bridge over the Manati river outside town was washed away in the storm....

istribution had been hampered by the destruction of roads and bridges, which makes it hard to get supplies to those in need.

"In addition to building that first line of the supply chain, we are also rebuilding the entire distribution system ... how we're going to deliver commodities and resources to the people of Puerto Rico," acting administrator John Rabin told reporters in San Juan. "We have often had to recreate the system in order to deliver food, water and commodities throughout the island

And I don't care about Katrina nor President Bush, just pointing out the incompetence of this Administration who thought it was more important to create a bogus NFL "issue" than put their attention on the plight of American citizens

True, logistics are a nightmare, but what the criticism is centered upon is the failure to have the right people there to address these problems, plus you can not get away from the fact that the President was so centered orchestrating his NFL "issue" that he spent next to zero effort focusing the attention of the Nation on the plight of other citizens

it takes a partnership when the destruction is this big. Texas, Florida and PR do not have the resources to do it on their own.
