why would NY re-elect Deblasio?

it's always been a losing proposition since the days when Tricky Dick created the DEA..
The best way to combat illegal behavior (like bootlegging in the 1920's)is to bring it out in the open and tax it

Just think how much we will save on incarcerations alone.

If I'm not mistaken, and I could be, I do believe you once said you were from suburban Boston, which would fully explain your opinion, if not, and you do live in the likes of Salina, Kansas, well, then it is just pure ignorance

I am not from suburban Boston. I am from Cape Cod the little time I am actually home. That being said, I have and do unfortunately spend too much time in NYC. It sucks. The ports, the graft, the people. Nothing good about it now and for the last 30 years of so I can vouch for.

well I hate the Yankees! does that count?:)

Have you ever been to NYC? Or is this like the NYT, your going with what everyone else you listen to told you about it?

Leaving aside that I've been to NYC multiple times why would it matter if I hadn't in asking FF why he felt NYC has done better under Deblasio?

NYC is like Alaska, you either love it or you hate it, no middle ground. My daughter lived there and hated it, but her friend, also formerly from Alaska, loves it.

Did you ask a guy with Florida in his name if he actually lives in NYC since he is talking about the City's performance?

Or it could be that he doesn't like the city due to its high congestion, high cost of living, moronic mayor etc...

Some people like big cities, some people don't. Some people like rural areas, some people don't. Some like City's but not all of them. NYC isn't everybody's cup of tea. Same for San Francisco. It's part of living in a diverse country.

Must everyone love NYC or else be ignorant?

If you want to get rid of the drug cartels, just legalize and control the narcotics. Look at Marijuana, since several states have legalized it, the amount coming in illegally across the border has declined substantially.

Admittedly, legalizing heroin, crack, and meth has always been my idea for destroying the Democratic Party.

MA government is more corrupt than NY government. Obviously, NJ blows them both out of the water.

Everything to your kind, has to revolve around politics. Get lost!

Drug use is the epitome of people's inability to respect human nature. You could neutralize organized criminal cartels, but, the human cost is obviously unfathomable to you. Me, I just don't have any compassion for drug users. My pity goes to the poor, sick, oppressed, and infirm.
