Embattled Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore is ahead of his Democratic opponent, according to a poll released Wednesday.

The JMC Analytics poll found that 48 percent of likely voters support Moore, while 43 percent of likely voters back Democrat Doug Jones. The poll has a margin of error of 3.5 percent. It was conducted on Monday and Tuesday after President Donald Trump was vocal in his criticism of Jones.

“The last thing we need in Alabama and the U.S. Senate is a Schumer/Pelosi puppet who is WEAK on Crime, WEAK on the Border, Bad for our Military and our great Vets, Bad for our 2nd Amendment, AND WANTS TO RAISES TAXES TO THE SKY,” Trump tweeted Sunday. “Jones would be a disaster!”

Moore has been accused of sexual misconduct with several minors, including allegedly guiding a 14-year old girl’s hand over his underwear. Moore has denied the allegations.

The JMC Analytics pollsters concluded that the “sexual misconduct allegations against Moore have not materially impacted the race.”

The allegations caused many key Republicans such as Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to call on Moore to drop out. Senators have floated the possibility of expelling Moore from the Senate if he were to be elected.

Alabama’s special election is on Dec. 12.

Moore will win.

I wouldn't even drive through Alabama.

Good! It will help the National Democratic party win more seats next November.

I was in Alabama last week, didn't see a single Moore sign. My friends (educated people) who are hard core Republicans are embarrassed by Moore. They call his supporters nuts.

Doug Jones by the way is a national hero, he decided, after many years had passed in Alabama, to go after the men who killed the four young girls who died when they bombed a Birmingham Church to protest desegregation.

The people who refused to prosecute these men, now vote Trump.

So how will they vote? Will they vote for the write in candidate who has the exact same agenda as moore, without the molestation?

Will they vote for the dem?

Or will they stay at home?

Or did you ask? lol

The thing that gave Trump the national vote was the large number of undecided they broke for Trump. The question is how many are undecided in this election

roy moore was a racist piece of shit before the molestation accusations.

He should not be any where near any political office that effects peoples lives, especially minority people and now, little girls.

the asshole will likey win

there is a group of very dumb Americans who refuse any facts and believe only fox news and right wing radio.

everyone else they claim is lying to them

there is a sucker born every minute

This election was rigged. Americans voted for Clinton. How can you be undecided on voting day? That's ridiculous.

But if we want to use voting numbers. 98% of Blacks voted for Clinton. We knew better than to vote for this racist pig.

This clusterfuck is on whites, especially racist whites.

It's time you all fix this mess before he starts a nuclear war.

How will this help the democrat party nationally?

Also, I always love it when you throw in your anecdotes about your so called republican friends

as for who will win, I think it is 50-50% right now.

One thing that is concerning for Moore is that he is under 50% with a fair amount of undecideds. They could break for the democrat in the end. It is hard to know

One thing in Moore's favor is that this broke far enough out and there have been no new allegations, unless WaPo is holding their powder until a couple days before the election

At this point I lean toward Moore losing

When Roy Moore was trying to fuck 14 year olds...

Doug Jones was prosecuting the murderers of 14 year old girls.

if Al Franken, and Conyers resign, both of whom admitted to their indiscretions, one even settled with a payment the claim against him, then you can wade into this argument on Moore.
so you might want to give Moore the benefit of the doubt,

or your hypocrisy stands noted, BRAD
